Street portraits have always been a fascinating subject for me, ’cause you never know what you see, hear or smell. Street photography is all the more special since it is all about that single decisive moment, it is not staged, it does not exist as it is. Streets constantly change.

When you walk the streets especially in Old Delhi, there are so many stories walking past you. Stories of Hope and Defeat, Love and Fear, Friendship and Hatred. Even the stones tell a story, a stationary rickshaw which is waiting by the bylanes so that it can ferry the next passenger and earn its living.

If only, we could understand. If only we saw the reality behind the facade… if only.

Below are some of the stories which caught my eyes while in Delhi.
